दिल्ली कोर्ट का आदेश

कानूनी प्रक्रिया और मामले की पृष्ठभूमि

Fatehi is currently listed as a witness, designated as LW 3 in the supplementary chargesheet. Once she appears in court, she will officially become a prosecution witness. The Delhi Police Special Cell is leading the investigation into the extortion claims against Chandrasekhar.

The case involves Chandrasekhar, his wife Leena Paulose, and several associates, with formal charges already framed. The court has invoked various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including impersonation of public servants and extortion, along with provisions from the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Sukesh Chandrasekhar के खिलाफ आरोप

The extortion allegations revolve around claims that Chandrasekhar and his associates targeted Aditi Singh, the spouse of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh. Investigators assert that while he was imprisoned in Rohini jail, he impersonated a central government official and used spoof calls to convince Aditi Singh to transfer large sums of money, falsely claiming it was for her husband's bail in a separate money laundering case.

As the trial progresses, the court is focused on the prosecution's evidence presentation, with the upcoming witness appearances being crucial for evaluating the allegations made by the Delhi Police.
